Lodgify Wrap-Up: Our Favorite Moments of 2024

In the excitement of planning for the future, it’s easy to overlook the value of pausing to reflect. But taking stock of recent milestones and lessons learned is often the key to unlocking even greater growth in the future.

So, with 2025 right around the corner, we’re taking a moment to look back on everything the past year has brought us.

2024 was a transformative year for Lodgify, filled with meaningful changes and exciting accomplishments. We’re proud of everything we’ve achieved, and can’t wait to share some of our favorite highlights with our incredible community of users and partners!

Growing and celebrating together

2024 marked another year of expansion for the Lodgify team. We welcomed over 130 new employees, growing our team by 58%!

We were thrilled to celebrate our many recent milestones with team members from across the globe, hosting two company gatherings in Barcelona during June and November. We also had an event in Buenos Aires in November for our LATAM team, which supports our customers in our U.S. time zones.

These events helped us get to know our new team members, strengthen our existing relationships, and improve our internal processes through workshops and activities!

Strengthening our management team

Strong leadership is key to setting the right tone and strategy for our business. So, we were excited to be able to further strengthen our leadership team this year with the addition of Volodymyr Korol, the former VP of Marketing at Creatio. Volodymyr joined Lodgify in the same position in September.

(Further) enhancing our offerings

We’re constantly working on new features and enhancements for our customers to provide the absolute best user experience possible. Here are a few of our biggest new releases from 2024!

AI-driven guest communications

In September, we expanded our AI Assistant to make it even more helpful.

Up until that point, users could leverage the AI Assistant’s Generate With AI feature to quickly respond to guest messages. Now, the AI Assistant also has these additional capabilities:

  • Suggest a message with AI: The Generate With AI button is now available even if there is no guest message, enabling you to craft potential messages from scratch based on factors such as booking dates and rental details.
  • Improve a message with AI: Once you begin typing a message, the Generate with AI button now changes to Improve with AI, a feature that corrects typos, adds appropriate salutations and signatures, enhances the overall style, and ensures that all guest inquiries and requests are addressed.

Better website builder, better websites

We also enhanced our website builder this year to make it even easier for you to create an attractive, high-converting website for your business. Our new website builder features include:

  • Mobile previews
  • Logo resizer
  • Slideshow hero section
  • Drag-and-drop editor
  • Simplified content management
  • Revamped external widget integration
  • Ability to pay with Google Pay and Apple Pay
  • Enhanced checkout flow

Guest invoices

Another new feature this year comes in the form of guest invoices!

Thanks to this addition, Lodgify Ultimate plan users can generate and share PDF invoices post-checkout, with options for customizing the template and numbering, editing guest details, and adding notes. Invoices can be sent with a single click, stored in the unified inbox, and created on-demand or automatically for every reservation.

Owners management

We know that property owners and managers often work in tandem to manage vacation rental operations. So, another key update this year focused on making that relationship easier to navigate.

For example, Lodgify account holders can now:

  • Grant property owners exclusive access to our website builder without sharing credentials.
  • Assign multiple owners to a rental and delegate specific roles to different individuals.
  • Hide reservation prices in calendars from owners.
  • Use the new Can only manage closed periods permission to limit owner access while preserving availability.

We hope this update makes delegating and ensuring everyone on your team has visibility that much easier!

New-and-improved online check-in form

Our pre-check-in form got a makeover this year! Now referred to as the “online check-in form,” the form features a new design, enhanced capabilities, and customization options.

For those of you who haven’t used the form yet, it’s a feature in the PM Modules’ Guest Module that allows you to send a questionnaire to gather guest details so they can check in online. Thanks to our new updates, you can now customize the form by adding/removing preset questions as well as adding custom questions.

The check-in email is also customizable to help you further enhance the check-in process and guest experience overall!

Mobile app upgrades

We pride ourselves on providing an effective and user-friendly mobile app to help our customers manage their businesses on the go. So, of course this year saw an update to our mobile app as well!

Thanks to this update, Ultimate plan users and their property management team members can now see their tasks in a calendar in our mobile app. That’s right—your PM team no longer has to log into the PM Modules app to see these details! Instead, they can log into the mobile app directly from the sign-in page.

Since they’ll have limited permissions, your team members will be navigated directly to the task calendar, where they’ll be able to claim tasks, mark them complete, and add photos, videos, and comments.

In addition to enhancing our product offerings, this year we also launched our software in an additional language: Portuguese!

We were thrilled to be able to improve the user experience for our Portuguese-speaking customers, and are committed to continue making Lodgify more accessible for all of our community. Lodgify is now available in six languages: English, Spanish, French, Italian, German, and Portuguese.

OTA recognition

We were honored to be recognized as preferred partners by the leading online travel agencies (OTAs) once again in 2024. This includes the highest partnership status from Airbnb (Preferred+ Partner), Vrbo (Elite Partner), and Booking.com (Premier Connectivity Partner).

Maintaining excellent relationships with our partners will continue to be a priority for us throughout 2025 to ensure we keep providing our users with the best channel management experience possible.

Winning big (hospitality software awards)

Reputable software review sites continued to recognize Lodgify as an industry leader in 2024.

Specifically, Capterra awarded us with its Shortlist award for Channel Management, Hospitality Property Management, and Vacation Rentals. The Capterra Shortlist recognizes the highest-rated and most popular products on the market.

Additionally, Software Advice gave us their Front Runners award, which ranks top products based on user reviews. We were also named Category Leaders in Channel Management and Hospitality Property Management by GetApp, a ranking that showcases the top 15 apps within a category.

Feeling the love

Feedback is crucial to help us continue to improve our offerings, and we always appreciate it—good or bad. This year alone, we received over 1,700 reviews from customers across global review platforms, maintaining an average rating of 4.7/5 stars and reaching a 94% customer satisfaction rate (CSAT)!

Globetrotting for industry events

Our customers’ guests aren’t the only ones who get to travel! This year, Lodgify team members were lucky to get to attend five major vacation rental industry events around the world.

These events were excellent opportunities for us to learn from leaders and peers in the industry as well as represent Lodgify. At all of them, we were able to show off Lodgify with an impressive booth, offer product demos, and connect with our community in person—something we can never get enough of. We even got to give presentations at four of the events this year!
