February may be the shortest month of the year, but don’t worry: We won’t come up short with the product updates we have to share with you today.
It’s been a busy few weeks, and as always, we’ve been hard at work on new features. From exciting new launches like Lodgify Smart Locks to small but effective updates, these changes are sure to make your job—and your life—a little easier.

Streamline keyless access with Lodgify Smart Locks
We’re absolutely thrilled to announce the launch of a new Lodgify offering that will make it much easier to manage keyless access to your property: Smart Locks.
Smart Locks is Lodgify’s solution for smarter keyless entry, putting all your smart locks in one dashboard so you can manage them all from one place. It also simplifies your operations by automatically generating and sharing unique access codes with your guests for each and every reservation.
Our goal with Lodgify Smart Locks is to help you operate more efficiently, improve the guest experience, and enhance your security, and we’re confident this new feature will do just that!

Drag, drop, and build an impressive website with ease
We pride ourselves on offering an intuitive website builder that anyone can use without technical experience or know-how. And now, our website builder has gotten even easier to use thanks to our new drag-and-drop interface.
This feature allows you to easily rearrange widgets within your website preview: Just click and hold a widget, then drag it to your desired location—no manual adjustments necessary. You can also play around with the widget width and number of columns and make whatever changes you like. It’s never been easier to customize your site!
For now, this feature only works for custom page widgets (not default ones, like the header or footer) on the website preview (not the left panel of the Editor) for custom pages. But stay tuned, because we’ll be releasing additional features related to this new drag-and-drop interface soon!
Ultimate plan users: access PM Modules directly from Lodgify
Ultimate plan users, this one’s for you.
As you’re probably aware, until now account holders have had to manage two separate user types—owners and team members—across Lodgify and PM Modules to support their daily operations. This isn’t ideal, as it requires everyone to navigate between two platforms, adding unnecessary complexity and time.
To solve this problem, we’ve migrated PM Modules team members to Lodgify to:
- Enhance the user experience: Account holders can now create and manage all users (owners and team members) and permissions from a single platform.
- Ensure seamless access to PM Modules within Lodgify: Owners and team members will use a single set of credentials to log in to Lodgify, providing seamless access to PM Modules through the same login.
What else can you expect?
- Owners → Users: The Owners section has been renamed to Users.
- Unified user, permission, and rental list:
- Owners and team members are now on the same page, maintaining the familiar user interface.
- A new Role field has been added to facilitate the mapping of PM Modules team member roles to owners, ensuring a consistent user experience. By default, the Rental Owner role is assigned to current owners without altering their permissions.
- PM Modules permissions are displayed in a dedicated column. Obsolete permissions, such as those for editing taxes or payments (features not available in PM Modules) have been deprecated.
- Existing PM Modules team member roles and permissions have been seamlessly transferred without any changes.
- Current rental selections for migrated PM Modules team members have also been automatically transferred without modification.
- New permissions:
- We’ve introduced the new permission Can Access PM Modules Features so users can access PM Modules directly, without logging in separately via pm.lodgify.com. (This permission is enabled by default for all migrated PM Modules team members.)
- Another new permission, Hide Reservation Prices and Quote Details, addresses security concerns. It’s enabled by default for all migrated PM Modules team members but can be adjusted easily.
- Unified login and access to PM Modules:
- There are no changes to the login process for owners. They can continue using their existing Lodgify credentials to log in. If the Can Access PM Modules Features permission is enabled, they will see and can click the PM Modules option in Lodgify’s main menu to access PM Modules seamlessly, just like account holders.
- Team members will be prompted to create a Lodgify password the first time they log in. Once they set their Lodgify password, team members can log in to Lodgify and access PM Modules directly by clicking the PM Modules option in the main menu.
Accept bookings directly from the Availability page
One of our most requested customizations has been to add a Book Now button directly to the Availability page for rentals. So guess what we did?
That’s right: Guests can now jump straight from the Availability page to checkout without any hassle. Once guests select their dates, the Book Now button even displays the base price, giving them clear and transparent pricing upfront. Then, when they’re redirected to the Checkout page, they can adjust the number of guests, set check-in and check-out dates, and view the updated price based on their selections.
This update is especially useful for single-property websites, where guests previously had to navigate back to the Homepage or the Overview page to access the Checkout page. But however many properties you have, we hope it helps you enhance your overall guest experience and secure more bookings!

Check out our brand-new Rates pages…
At the end of last year, we started rolling out a new release that revamped and regrouped our Rates pages. Now, we’re excited to announce that the feature has been successfully rolled out to all Lodgify customers!
More specifically, this change involved replacing the Booking Settings, Default Rates, Fees & Taxes, and Promotions & Add-ons sections with new pages: Pricing, Availability, and Policies.
These newly organized pages deliver a cleaner, more intuitive experience, making it easier than ever to navigate, set up, and manage your rates. In addition to regrouped information, you can expect enhanced:
- Explanations: We’ve improved the wording to ensure better clarity.
- Layout: The new design pattern simplifies the setup, editing, and visibility of all configurations.
- Channel visibility: Booking platform icons now appear on more settings, showing where syncs with channels apply.
We hope this change helps you seamlessly manage your rates across channels!
…and our Reservations module’s new user interface
As you probably know by now, we’re continually updating our software’s user interface (UI) to ensure it provides the absolute best experience possible. And to find our most recent updates, you can look to our Reservations module.
So, what did we change? In addition to an entirely new UI for the Reservations module’s front end, you can expect:
- Editable guest breakdowns, where you can update the adults, children, pets, and infants associated with bookings
- Note: Guest breakdowns are visible for all channels, but are only editable for direct and manual bookings.
- An updated UI for the statuses, quote, payment, and guest boxes on the Reservation Details page
- A new side modal for messages
- An improved look for the reservation creation flow for both with and without a quote
- Improved discoverability for print and archive options (previously they were at the footer of the page)

Protect your account with 2FA for edits to payment settings
From now on, if you or any of your other account users try to edit or add a payment setting, you’ll be prompted to complete two-factor authentication, or 2FA. Only once the 2FA workflow is complete will you be able to make any changes to your payment settings, and your validation will last 10 minutes.
This update applies to Stripe, PayPal, manual, and other payments, ensuring that only authorized users can make changes and enhancing your security.
Link your domain more easily than ever
Need to link your domain with your Lodgify website? Good news: It’s now easier than ever because of Entri, a new third-party app we’re using.
If your domain provider is supported by Entri, simply click the three dots icon and then Domain security for the domain you’d like to link. (To find the domain list, navigate to the Domains section of the Website Builder Settings page in your Lodgify account.) This will automatically redirect you to the Entri flow, where you’ll simply have to enter your domain provider credentials. Then Entri will automatically make the domain name system (DNS) changes for you!
Afterward, the flow will return you to the Domain List page, where you’ll see the status as Pending. Keep in mind that domain linking can take up to 48 hours.
Note: This feature is currently rolled out to everyone except users who have previously registered the same email address in both Lodgify and PM Modules and users with multiple room types enabled. Additionally, domains not supported by Entri will still have to go through the manual flow.
Enjoy a more seamless mapping experience
Want to connect to Booking.com, but already list on Airbnb—or vice versa? We’ve updated our mapping logic to make it easier for those of you with listings on one of these platforms to connect to the other without unnecessary restrictions.
For example, in the past, users with Airbnb listings set to Request to Book would have to switch them to Instant Book before connecting with Booking.com. Now, thanks to our recent update, that’s no longer the case!
Here’s what you can expect:
- More flexibility for listings set to Request to Book: If a property is set to Request to Book on Airbnb, it can now also be mapped as Request to Book on Booking.com.
- Better booking model validation: We now check Booking.com’s booking model via the content API to ensure accurate enforcement of platform rules.
- Clearer restrictions: If Airbnb is to Instant Book, Booking.com can still be mapped as Instant Book as well as Request to Book.
There’s nothing to do on your end, but you can expect a smoother, more seamless mapping experience moving forward!
Prioritize your conversations with an improved inbox preview
Here’s another simple update to make the inbox preview more intuitive and informative. Thanks to this update, you can now quickly see:
- Rental avatars to easily differentiate properties
- Check-in and check-out dates for quick reference
- Improved booking status display for better clarity
- Updated design system components for a fresher look
- Refreshed logos for both Lodgify and third-party booking platforms
- New empty state message when no messages exist in a thread

Easier logins are coming your way
Before we get to our new marketplace integrations, here’s one last small update for you to be aware of.
If you try to log in to Lodgify but already have a session open, the login page will now show you that’s the case. You’ll be able to return to your existing session with just a single click—no need to re-enter your credentials!

Our new partner Directo is a Google Chrome extension that helps hosts get more direct bookings by alerting travelers browsing booking platforms when they can get a better deal by booking directly. It then redirects travelers to the direct booking site for the listing in question, where they can complete their reservation with ease.
It’s a win-win: The traveler gets to search via their preferred booking platform, you get more visibility, and you both save on third-party fees!
