We don’t know about you, but September has been an incredibly busy month here at Lodgify, as we’ve been hard at work on new features, updates, and integrations to share with you.
We’re especially excited to introduce you to the new-and-improved Pages section of our Website Builder, which will make it that much easier to add and manage content on your Lodgify website. But that’s just the beginning this month: We’ll also touch on Airbnb’s New Listing Promotion, Airbnb review tags, a new option to hide “from” prices for your listings…We could go on, but we’ll just let you see for yourself.
P.S. Read to the end of the blog to see the newest language Lodgify is available in!
Seamlessly add and edit pages on your Lodgify website
We’re excited to announce that we’ve fully revamped the Pages section of our Website Builder with a brand-new user interface and several new features!
So, what’s new? It’s now easier to manage and create pages, with options to choose from various page types, duplicate/delete pages from the page’s menu, quickly access page settings, switch between web and mobile views, and more.
We’ve also simplified the process for managing page sections. All widgets are now full-width sections, and you can easily add, edit, reorder, and group sections directly from the menu.
This update comes with a lot of small changes that will make it easier to manage pages in our Website Builder, so be sure to visit our Knowledge Base for task-specific instructions! And stay tuned for more Website Builder updates coming your way soon.
Kickstart your journey as an Airbnb host
New to Airbnb? Get your bookings rolling with Airbnb’s New Listing Promotion!
That’s right—Airbnb is now offering a 20% discount on the first three bookings for new listings. This promotion is automatically available to Lodgify hosts with new listings, giving you the boost you need to attract guests right from the start.
To take advantage of this promotion, your listing must have received fewer than three bookings, and Lodgify Dynamic Pricing must be disabled. Then simply enable the promotion in the Airbnb section of your Channel Manager:
Once you enable the promotion, guests will see a 20% discount applied to your listing, making them that much more likely to book with you!
We all know that guest reviews are an essential part of improving the guest experience and ensuring continued business. So, we decided to provide even deeper insights into guest feedback with one of our latest new features: Airbnb review tags.
With Airbnb review tags, hosts and guests alike can now use additional tags to highlight specific issues with a listing related to key categories such as cleanliness, respect for Airbnb house rules, communication, accuracy, check-in experience, and location. By categorizing feedback with relevant tags, hosts can quickly identify areas for improvement, and guests can make more informed decisions.
For example, under the Cleanliness category, tags like “neat & tidy,” “took care of garbage,” or “messy kitchen” can be used to give precise feedback.
Try it out by adding tags to your next guest review. Simply navigate to Reviews and then Airbnb, and write your review. Positive and negative tag options will auto-populate based on the rating you choose.
We hope this new feature enables both hosts and guests to provide more meaningful and detailed feedback, making reviews more actionable and valuable!
Hide prices before date selection
California legislation recently made it illegal to advertise, display, or offer vacation rental rates that don’t include all fees and charges guests will be expected to pay. So, to make it easier for you to comply with this new law, we’ve made it possible to hide prices before visitors select dates.
For example, if you enable this feature, guests will still see the All Properties and Property pages with “from” prices:
But if you disable the feature, prices aren’t shown until a visitor makes a date selection:
This feature will be automatically disabled for all Lodgify users with at least one California-based property on September 30, meaning that your websites will not showcase prices until a date is selected. However, you can enable the feature if you choose.
Lodgify users without rentals in California can take advantage of this feature as well. Simply go to your Settings page within the Website Builder and:
- Select the checkbox to show prices before date selection.
- Leave the checkbox unchecked to hide prices until date selection.
Display a fixed currency on our external booking box widget
You asked for it, and now it’s here: Users of our external booking box widget can now select the currency they want guests to see. (Before, the currency automatically updated based on guests’ location.)
This is a great option if you only want to accept a single currency, regardless of where guests are from.
For more information about how to use our booking widget on an external website and how to update your currency, visit our Knowledge Base.
Switch currencies in Analytics
Here’s a quick win for those who accept multiple currencies for their bookings: You can now filter by currency in Analytics just as you can in the PM Modules Control Center. This update will make it easier to create currency-specific charts.
Note that selecting a currency does not serve as a currency exchange calculator. It will only display values for rentals that have bookings in the chosen currency.
Make updates to your domain on our new Settings page
Last spring, we started rolling out our new-and-improved Website Builder Settings page, and we’re excited to announce that it’s officially available to all Lodgify users!
So, what’s new? The Settings page now has a Domains tab that enables you to:
- Edit the first default domain assigned to your website (it usually looks something like this: username.lodgify.com).
- Get a brand-new domain (based on your subscription—only available for yearly plans).
- Link a domain you own to your Lodgify website.
These changes are intended to give you a stronger SSL certificate to protect your website from malware and suspicious activity, making your website experience even more secure.

Welcome children with our new amenity
Does your vacation rental accept children? We’ve made it easier to let your guests know by including the Children Welcome amenity in our rental creation flow.
Thanks to this simple update, you no longer have to go to the Amenity page to select this amenity, saving you time and helping you remember to select it. Traveling families will appreciate having this detail upfront and will be that much more likely to choose your rental!
Make the most of our new marketplace integrations
We launched two new integrations in September, with Duve and Besty AI.
Personalize your guest experiences with Duve
No two guests are the same, so it goes without saying that creating a great guest experience comes down to meeting travelers’ unique needs. Of course, this is easier said than done—unless you have Duve.
One of our latest integration partners, Duve is an end-to-end guest experience management platform that enables you to personalize the entire guest experience, from check-in to check-out.
Features such as online check-in flows, a guest app, and personalized upsells help to improve guest satisfaction while also increasing revenue for your business—all without requiring extra time or energy from your team.

Streamline guest communications and upselling with Besty AI
Saving time is on just about every host and property manager’s wish list, so we’re excited to announce an integration that can help you do just that: Besty AI.
Besty AI is an automation tool that takes all the work out of guest communications and upselling with AI-powered messaging, retargeting, and inquiry follow-ups. It can even find and carry out upsell opportunities all on its own, keep tabs on your customers’ moods, and provide detailed analytics.

Diga olá à Lodgify
For everyone in our Portuguese-speaking community, we’re excited to announce that we’ve officially launched Lodgify in Portuguese!
To update your preferred language in your Lodgify account, go to the My account page. You’ll now see an option for Portuguese.
Once you click Save, all pages of the Lodgify platform will automatically be translated to Portuguese.
We’re so happy to be able to improve the experience for our Portuguese-speaking customers, and are committed to continue making Lodgify more accessible for all of our community.
