New Zapier Integration – https://www.lodgify.com/blog/lodgify-zapier-integration/

12 July 2017

Main fixes:
-fixed the bug with the empty thank you page after a booking request
-fixed a bug with the payment of a subscription using Paypal: it was giving an error if you select a different Country respect the one you have in your Paypal account.

Half improvement:
-From now on the first day available when you make a booking is the day where the customer is on. So if US guests want to make a booking at 8pm with arrival the same day (but here we are already in the next day) he should be able to do it. (Right now it doesn’t totally work because we need something server-side that has been fixed in Staging..but it will be released soon)

10 July 2017

– We have a new marketing website! www.lodgifyintegration.com (after the PTL will be the www.lodgify.com)
– We have totally changed the way you search for a city in the step 2 of the “Add property” process. Now we use Google, but we also give a tool to totally customize the name of the city as you want (I’ll explain this more in detail later).
– Improved the subscription page and the option to pay with Paypal
– We have added the “Property Address” in the placeholders (variables) of email notifications and canned responses. It’s divided into HouseAddress (Line1+Line2), HouseZipCode, HouseCountry, HouseRegion, HouseCity, HouseLatitude, HouseLongitude.
– We have added an “Owner Payout” field in the “additional rates settings” of the Step3 of a Property. You can only select a % and at the beginning we won’t do anything with it. But users with subowners could use it to generate reports for their owners.
– We have improved a lot the “website settings – booking system” section: now we show “Accept payments by credit card” and not “Do not accept payments by credit card”. We also make the validation of the Paypal email and you can not go to a different tab if you select that accept payments but don’t select a Stripe account or a Paypal email address.
– We have added the new logo in our backend
– Fixed a few of old little bugs in our backend
– We have changed a little bit the logic of the “Design” section: now the background is the last tab and we show different things depending on the selected template. Soon we’ll add also the possibility to increase the size of the text and of the logo from here.
– Fixed a bug that was giving an error during signup, and then create an account without website.
– Some little changes in the reservation system, but I’ll ask to Dennis if he can summarize them.
– New “Single Calendar” UI (it will be hidden at the beginning for the users but we could give them access via an URL. I’ll give it to you after PTL)
– New Channel Manager UI (it will be hidden at the beginning for the users but we could give them access via an URL. I’ll give it to you after PTL)

Res.System:

– now in step 2 of the quote creation, whenever you change the base price, the dependent quote items get recalculated. for example, say your room rate is €100 and you have a 10% misc. charge, initially we show €10 as the misc charge in step 2. if you manually adjust the room rate to €200, the misc charge will be recalculated to €20. in the past it was static at €10.
– when an owner triggers “guest makes change request”, it does not require anymore the approval of the owner. rather we just show a dialog warning whether the user really wants to apply the change. once confirmed, the change request is immediately applied.
– we added new menu items in the quote card menu: “Request payment of €75” and “Mark €75 as paid” in addition to the plus button
– we disabled the “Edit booking” menu item inside the booking card, when a quote was sent. it was shown in the past, but once the slider opened almost nothing was editable, so now we dont show it anymore
– we added a new menu item in the booking card that allows you to add and edit the Booking Source. previously that was part of the “Edit Booking” slider.
– in step 1 of quote creation, now we auto-scroll to the required fields. Say, the user entered a booking in step 1 and presses “Next” without entering a guest name, now we would auto scroll to the guest name input field that shows the required field error message
– in zapier we added 2 new triggers: Create Booking (for the moment we only had Create “Booked” Booking) and Update Booking. For example, the Update Booking function allows you to update the data say in a Lodgify->Zapier->Sheets integration. So if someone updates a booking from Tentative to Booked that was already sent by zapier to Sheets, the Sheets cell that says “Tentative” will now change to “Booked”
– fixed some bugs

-we are now also importing the total amount of a booking through Outswitch. Not creating a quote but inside the left part where the details are (and also in the excel report). It works exactly the same that with Booking.com imported bookings.

26 June 2017

– Issue fixed in the Booking.com Sensei page for some users when click on “Test”.
– We have changed the way the cache is used for iCals. This should solve all the issues we had but maybe we could have different issues. Please let me know about all complaints about iCal.
– From now on all currencies exchange should be updated automatically daily.
– Now the {{Source}} placeholder in the “Two days after renter departure” email should send the correct link to the review section of the property associated to the booking.
– Fixed a couple of issues with Zapier

15 June 2017

– Now users can generate their own API key. They can find that from the Settings section of the account (I’ll send a screenshot). Please don’t click the link for them as the link can be generated only once and also it will invalidate statistics. Note: the text is wrong..we’ll update it soon.
– New language added: Lithuanian
– Now once per day we do the “Sync all” button for all listings connected to Booking.com, to avoid the issues with “auto-closed”..please let me know if you see issues.

1 June 2017

– Fixed a couple of issues on the payment of our subscriptions using Paypal. We will still have to improve things there but now you can promote it (I see already 6 users that paid using Paypal option)
– Booking.com integration: Fixed the calculation of the Extra cost per extra person that was not considered in the mark-up and taxes calculation. Now it should be fine, but if you know of customers that complaint about that, please click on the “Sync all” button for them
– The Dashboard is finally removed: now users after login will go to the “Properties” page of their website, IF they have 0 completed properties. Elsewhere, they will be redirected to the reservations inbox.

28 April 2017

– Now you can remove websites from the accounts. Just enter into “My Websites” and you will see a black “Delete (Admin only)” button. In order to delete a website you have to hide all properties associated to it first (and I think it won’t work with a website that is associated to a subscription). WARNING: The website can’t be reinstated, so only use the delete button when you are 100% sure of what you are doing!
NOTE: normal users don’t see that button, so if they request to cancel a website just do it for them, don’t explain them how to do it because they can not.
– Now for PastDue subscriptions we have added the “Retry charge” button. I have just found a bug (the popup don’t close right after the try) but we are fixing it now.

-We have improved the Booking.com mapping page. Now it’s editable also by you and you can also check directly from the Booking.com ID (without using the User_ID) and you can “Sync All” instead of doing one by one. I’ll explain it more in detail in the next days.

-*Booking.com* change: Now we should be able to understand the language of an imported booking, but only when Country is Germany-Spain-France or Italy. For these cases we put automatically the corresponding language. For all the others we put English. Anyway they can change the language manually now.
-We have fixed an issue with the advanced filters of the All Properties page: now the filters will search also INTO a property with different apartments (e.g: if you have a property with 3 apartments, and two of them have 2 bedrooms and one have 3 bedrooms, now if you search for “Minimum 3 bedrooms” that property will appear).
-Fixed a bug with a weird iCal that was not possible to sync
-Fixed a bug in templates where the “Sort by” dropdown was overlapped over the properties
-We have removed the decimals from ALL pages (only in checkout we are still showing them)
-We don’t store anymore any IP of the guests (because for law in some Country we can not do anymore)
