Want to know what’s hot in the vacation rental industry in 2022? Social media is one of the best ways to stay up to date with the latest trends, news and gossip, but knowing who to follow is not easy. 

Did you know that more than half of the world now uses social media, 58,4% or 4,62 billion people, with the average time spent on social media amounting to 2h 27 minutes per day? People are increasingly using social media as a source of news and cutting-edge info in most industries, including short-term rentals. Facebook is still the biggest social media channel by far, followed by YouTube, Instagram and TikTok, according to the latest global active social media user figures. (October 2021)
